In the unlikely event of Hi-Tuff breaking it fractures into small particles,significantly reducing the risk of injury. Hi-Tuff is a grade A safety glass with Bureau Veritas Certification.

SECURITY

Hi-Tuff is much Harder to break than annealed float glass. The noise due to breakage is often deterrent.

QUALITY

Some visible defects are inherent in the glass manufacturing process and various manufacturers have slightly differing final quality standards.

STRENGTH

Hi-Tuff is 4 to 5 times stronger than annealed glass of same thickness due to stress induced during tougheneing.
